Programs Tailor Made for All Needs

Piano lessons are conducted in a warm and inviting home atmosphere. Students enjoy graded advancement in classical music and theory applications for modern music, and lessons are geared to allow learning at their own pace, yielding excellent retention and results. I teach through kinesthetic learning, visual learning, and mental stimulation to first teach kids to be familiar with the full-size keyboard. When a student is comfortable with the topography of the keyboard and chord structure we move to note reading.

I begin with children as young as 7 ½, though I have no upper age limit! It is never too late to start learning an instrument. Beginning lessons for children are universal preps for band. Later we will progress to classical, pop, or Jazz prep theory. Both adults and children will receive lessons in music theory, and comprehensive lessons for the future reading of any type of music including fake books.
